A decade of Wild Legion
329 announcements survive from the clan's first twelve years, written by the people who lived them. This is what they record: a founding, two rivalries, a golden age under lockdown, a slow drift, and a clan still standing.

Founded on a Monday
Wild Legion was founded on 10 February 2014 by ilona and Tige[R], with a stated purpose that still reads well: to unite experts, mediums and beginners under one banner. The first announcement went up the same day the site did.
Recruitment began immediately, and so did the standards: the very first recruit was gone within three days for playing under a false identity. The Academyopened on 13 February, three days into the clan's existence, with a first lesson on economy and army composition. That same week the clan published a Russian version of its site and claimed to be the first Stronghold clan running in two languages.
68 announcements went up that year, still the loudest in clan history.
The MK years
The clan's first great rivalry was with MK, and it ran for years. Recruits arrived from Iran, Pakistan, Russia, Egypt, Venezuela and Romania; the news of those years is a steady drumbeat of arrivals, academy graduations, and the occasional expulsion.
Leadership changed hands in April 2016, when Siam stepped down in favour of Cocaine with a blunt explanation: the clan needed a stronger leader. Recruitment reopened and the rules were tightened the same day.
The quiet year
Twelve announcements, down from fifty. In early February 2018 the clan's most active player and administrator, MysticaL, went inactive and stayed away until winter. The archive thins out to almost nothing in his absence, which is its own kind of evidence about how much of a clan rests on a few people.
He returned in November and became the new leader, replacing Cocaine, who left after the two fell out. The announcement is candid about it: the reason Cocaine gave was the clan's habit of posting match videos against other players, dismissed by Tige[R] as a silly excuse given they had been doing it for years, with an argument between the two on the day he went.
The golden age, under lockdown
Then the world shut its doors. Covid confinement drove everyone back to their computers, and Wild Legion had its best years: announcements doubled, veterans came home, and recruits arrived from Uzbekistan, Iran and Egypt in a steady stream. The rivalry with XCONdefined the era, and the clan's players won tournament after tournament across 2020 and 2021.
This was the stretch the clan measured itself by: the best players it ever fielded, playing the most, in front of the biggest audience the community had.
The drift
MysticaL went inactive in late 2021 and has not returned to the game since. What followed was a slow unravelling: administrators who cared less than the job required, players who stopped trying to improve, turbo mouse abuse becoming normal, and clanmates picking fights with one another instead of with other clans.
The archive records it in volume alone. Twenty-three posts in 2021, eleven in 2022, 7 in 2023.
Waiting for the Definitive Edition
Every announcement in this archive was written about Stronghold Crusader 1.1. The clan's next era may not be: the Definitive Edition brings the prospect of a new generation of players, and Wild Legion intends to be standing when they arrive.
This platform replaced the old site in July 2026, and the first thing posted on it was a question: “Comeback is real ?”. Anyone who watched Tige[R] play MK in the summer of 2016 will recognise the phrase.
Who led, and when
Who wrote it down
The clan's history exists because a handful of people kept posting. Announcements written, all time:
The rivalries
The defining rivalry of the clan's first era, fought across years of 1v1s and team games. Tige[R] against Rusted Sword became the fixture everyone watched.
The rivalry of the golden age, running through the lockdown years when both clans were at their strongest and the community watched every meeting.
El Classico
The defining fixture of modern Stronghold Crusader was not Wild Legion against another clan: it was Misterio against MysticaL, two Wild Legion experts who met in final after final. Misterio took the Armageddon grand final in 2019 and SHCEvent2k20 the following May, and the community still treats their games as the ones to watch.
16 Trophies
Wild Legion players won a great deal more than this. What follows is what the clan can still document, from a YuGoD title in 2016 to the invitational the clan hosted itself in 2025, and several of these finals were fought between two Wild Legion players because the clan had taken over the bracket.
MysticaL beat •{»GoTK«}• Szlachcielec (3-0)
This record is incomplete. If you won something under the -=W.L=- tag, send it to a leader with the bracket or the video and it belongs here.
The old banner
The scorpion, the shield and the crossed swords that flew over the clan for most of its first decade.

A museum of legendary games is coming, once the clan has dug out the matches worth keeping. If you remember one, say so.
